I am looking for user experience designers (a lead and 2 practitioner level) to join an iconic entertainment brand in West London. My client is building a team to work alongside creative on a new digital streaming service. I am looking for creative user experience designers with a mix of experience, ideally in movies, sports and entertainment. You will work alongside the creative and tech team in an agile environment and be involved from the outset and creation of the brand guidelines. You will of course get involved in the detail, producing all of the information architecture and interaction design documentation. You will be responsible for the navigation, search and interface – being the guardian of requirements through to product launch and testing.

We have a lovely new role for a client of ours that are building their user experience team. They are a successful integrated advertising agency slap bang in the middle of central London.

It is clear that this company is committed to user experience in its purest form; the user experience team sit tightly with the planners and strategists. They have a really great set up here; you will be surrounded by the research and communications teams, plus an analytics team that are constantly coming up with new methods for collecting data that can be used positively in their projects. Our client is looking for a junior-mid practitioner to come and join the UX team as the fourth member, working on mainly consumer lead projects but with some b2b.

For this role you will need to have strong information architecture skills, being able to produce all documentation for client briefs and pitches including:

- Creating low and high fidelity wireframes

- Developing user personas, sitemaps and user journeys

- Documenting competitor benchmarks

- Carrying out qualitative research

The type of projects will vary, from working briefs from a massive national telecommunications company, to picking up well known campaigns and having to come up quickly with creative solutions. There is also the opportunity to contribute to some iPad work that has yet to be launched. The split between web and mobile work is around fifty fifty, plus our client has just completed building an in-house lab for user research. Coming from a similar role in an E-Commerce environment – ideally within the retail industry – you’ll have plenty of experience of designing for the Customer Journey. Experience that will have honed your skills in transactional technologies such as ATG. Excellent communication skills are essential if you’re to successfully manage, influence and work collaboratively with internal stakeholder and external vendors. As is the ability to analyse target customer groups, understand their shopping behaviour and develop online merchandising strategies to that end.
