Scottish UPA: Insights into Information Architecture for the web (Tuesday 24 May)

Information Architect Peter Van Dijck will present an overview of some of the procedures and deliverables that an information architect (IA) contributes to a typical web project.

Peter will also be presenting a day long IA masterclass with 10% discount for UPA members.

Drawing on his experience with several multinational companies, he will explain the role of an IA throughout the project lifecycle and also the methods that can be applied to understand the user's requirements and ensure a clear, user-centred information structure for a site. He will include several case studies to show the practical benefits from IA and how IA user research early in a project results in demonstrably better findability and clarity on large and small websites.

Please note
The Information Architecture Masterclass on May 24th is being run by User Vision. You can find further information and registration details on the User Vision site.
