UK Head of User Experience Design (4th July 08)
Outstanding Head of User Experience role at a world leading online Marketplace. This is one of the biggest brands online and is an outstanding organisation to work for.
My client is seeking a dynamic and driven leader to take the reins of this well established and very talented site experience team.
You will have the chance to work on Global projects and will be very involved with the European business also.
Agency or client side backgrounds are both equally applicable. The most important quality is that you must be a very strong leader and an evangelist of user experience.
You must love managing and mentoring people as you will have responsibility for user experience designers, content managers, user researchers and Market researchers. You will also liaise closely with the product and planning teams.
This role will have a lot of interaction with Europe so an understanding of working across European markets would be advantageous.
You must have great influencing skills and a broad understanding of UED practices including a wide range of design and IA practices.
